How to power your iPod with a lemon


No, we’re NOT pulling your leg on this one. The next time Eskom decides to cut the power, just hurry to your nearest fruit bowl, grab a lemon and you’ll be listening to Rihanna in no time. All you need is acidic fruit (citrus fruits, apples or pears work well), a few nails, coins and a multimeter to measure currents and voltages. Time to discover why fruit and veg are really good for you...
